Teleskop's vault is uses zero knowledge encryption to secure your documents. That makes it fit to store important documents related to my assets as well as general documents. This could be a Will, a lasting power of attorney or letters to loved ones.

Please note that in most countries only the physical copy of the Will is an enforceable document. So, when you store it in the Teleskop vault, make sure to keep a note that describes where the physical copy of the will is stored.

Video Tutorial for adding documents:

The steps are:

1: From the "What's Next" menu in the bottom left, select "Set up your vault".

If this is your first time to access the vault, please check out the tutorial on how to set up your vault for the first time which also includes an article on how to access the vault if you are on a new device.

2: On the vault page, scroll down to the section for documents and select "Add a note"

3: This will open the following choices for you:

  • Upload Files

  • Write a note

For file upload, the Supported file formats are pdf, doc, xls, csv, ppt, txt, jpeg, png.

The maximum file size is 10MB.

4: Upload File:

Click on the orange box titled "upload file" to access your drive and chose the desired files.

Here you can also manage the existing files and remove them if desired by selecting the delete icon.

5: Write a note

Enter a title so that it can be displayed on the vault page.

The file is a free text field that also provides you formatting options.

The final note will be stored as a .txt file and encrypted.
